Under the guidance of the Representative and Deputy Representative, the Programme Analyst for Reproductive Health Commodity Security will report to the Reproductive Health (RH) Specialist.   The Programme Analyst will respond to country requests, and within the broader context of SRH system, strengthen and manage financing for the promotion, design, monitoring and evaluation of all phases of equitable RH commodity and family planning availability throughout all sectors (public, private, non-profit, subsidized and commercial), as well as supply management system, guidelines and standards.   

The RHCS Programme Analyst role is vital to enhancing the national capacity to mobilize social and political support for national Policies and Programmes in the field of Reproductive Health Commodity Security (RHCS)

The Programme Analyst ensures the effective management of UNFPA supported Reproductive Health Commodity Security related programmes, comprising of family planning commodities and maternal health life-saving medicines. S/he also oversees procurement planning, forecasting and budgeting, procurement ordering, inventory tracking and monitoring, reporting, logistics management information systems, policy and advocacy. S/he also collaborates with the CO’s operations/administrative support staff.
