As the worst drought in 40 years hit Zambia, UNFPA brought mobile health clinics to the hardest-hit areas, offering medical checkups and cash assistance. More than 240,000 people attended temporary clinics set up by the Ministry of Health and UNFPA, receiving family planning services, antenatal and postnatal care, immunizations for babies, and classes on respect and consent tailored for men. Our work, supported by partners and donors, continues as we navigate recovery efforts.
