The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), in collaboration with other partners has been implementing a three-year Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA)-funded Gender, Adolescent Pregnancy Social norms (GAPS) Programme (2022-2024), which aims to contribute towards a future where adolescent girls and young people in selected districts in Eastern and Southern Provinces of Zambia lead empowered and healthy lives, with access and opportunities to make their own sexual and reproductive health choices.
UNFPA seeks a consultancy firm to conduct an end-line evaluation of the GAPS I program in Zambia, which concludes in December 2024. This evaluation will serve the purposes of demonstrating accountability to stakeholders, both financers and beneficiaries, on performance in achieving development results and on invested resources, generating learning, supporting evidence-based decision making, and contributing important lessons learned on how to further improve programming in this thematic area.
